Wendy Minix is the Women in Tyler, liaison of LaToyia S. Jordan, and has been involved with the Women in Tyler Committee since 2006, where she served twice and was the chair, and currently holds the Treasurer position. Wendy is retired from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she spent 28 years.
LaToyia S. Jordan is the visionary and the founder of the I Am Beautiful Movement and the CEO of BAM which is a Woman Magazine and Media Consulting Firm she also owns Toyia Thrives Enterprises.

“East Texas surrounding counties and cities came out and supported BAM Woman magazine Fashion Soiree, this was our first one and this won’t be our last one. We showcased different businesses here in East Texas, DFW area and someone came from Atlanta Georgia to participate in our fashion show,” Steward said. “I just want to say, East Texas don’t sleep on us, we will be doing more fashion shows in the future. We will be doing another one next year and I just want everyone to pay attention and be on the lookout, BAM is on the move.”
